Hello! I am Robert, a Los Angeles based producer, mixer, recording engineer and multi-instrumentalist from Oxford, England. I love recording bands and artists with strongly unique identities and highly creative visions, the more complex the better. I moved to Los Angeles in 2018 for the chance to be in the room with and to learn from some of the greatest creators and musicians in the world.

I work with a multitude of both established and developing artists but have become most recognised for engineering Queens of the Stone Age’s twice Grammy nominated 2023 album In Times New Roman. Other notable and favourite artists I have been lucky enough to work with are The Kills, Mothé, The Technicolors, Beach Weather, Nikki Lane, Taylor Hawkins, Cheap Trick, The Wrecks, Janes Addiction and Porno For Pyros. In 2021 I recorded Josh Homme’s contribution to Paul McCartney’s III Imagined album which also featured St Vincent, Beck, Dominic Fike, Phoebe Bridgers, Khruangbin and Anderson .Paak.

In 2022, I was credited with co-producing, engineering and mixing legendary guitarist Jeff Beck’s album 18 with his great friend Johnny Depp and featuring Vinnie Colaiuta and Pino Palladino. Once the album was finished, I went on to join Jeff’s band to play keys on both the European and US tours including the Montreux Jazz Festival and eventually to speak on The Sessions Panel at Namm 2023 after Jeff’s untimely passing.

In 2024, I was credited for my first score work on the Johnny Depp directed ‘Modì Three Days on the Wing of Madness’, scoring and contributing performances to a pivotal scene featuring Hollywood icon Al Pacino. I genuinely love what I do and feed off a deep passion to help other creatives get their music from the ideas stage to release day by identifying whatever path is the most exciting and inspiring.
